One of my most favorite parts of Virginia is the mere chance of mild weather in the winter. I hate those long cold, snowy months that seem to drag on and on. It's such a mood killer! I was pleasantly surprised by our warm Christmas this year. And what do we do when it's warm.... WE go to the beach!! A Duh! It was so warm that we could even stick our feet in the water. I packed up the tripod, the kids, the husband, and the dad and we finally got those christmas card pictures taken. Though, being that it was already Christmas, those cards turned into New Years cards... that got mailed on January 7th. Don't judge me, I've been busy! Alas, I'd say these might be some of my favorite family portraits and the will definitely be finding a place on my wall. I even got the Maine mountain man to pose in one with me. I have, however, given up on the fact that wherever he goes, so goes his ratty hat. In truth, thats one of the things I love most about him. My Daddy-o was also down from Delaware for a visit. I just love watching the bond he has with my girls. The love between a Pop-pop and his granddaughters is very special. I hope you all had a very merry Christmas. Warm Wishes for 2016!
