Snow, Virginia Style {My Life, Chesapeake Photography}

Girl! I wasn't not interested in this snow. I sent family from back home in Philly area pictures of all the snow reports for our area. They got pummeled with 20+ inches. Our meer 1 inch was laughable. I grumbled about it all week. Then at 7am my littles came running into our bedroom screaming "Do you wanna build a snow man." The sun, glorious, gorgeous sun was just coming up behind the trees in our back yard. That sheer happiness you really only have in childhood was strewn accross the girls face. Ok I guess that icky white stuff isn't so bad. Side bonus, found the girls snow bibs from when we lived up north. Thank God I subscribe to the "they'll grow into it" mentality and the bibs I bought for my 18 month olds was a size 4T. The girls had a blast. That Mainer husband of mine, mine as well gone out in shorts an a tshirt. He just thinks this 1inch business is so hilarious. Finished the morning off with some hot chocolate and a trip to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Weekend mornings are so few and far between as a night shift weekend nurse. This was certainly a blessing and a great memory. So NOW can it be summer??
